Creating A "Stable Environment" for Machine Embroidery

Have you ever agonized over which type of stabilizer to use on different types of fabric when you are machine embroidering OR ruined a garment or machine embroidery project because the finished product looked poorly as a result of using the wrong type of stabilizer or hooping your fabric incorrectly?

Michelle's Quilts is sponsoring a four-hour workbook class on the many types of stabilizers and what each are used for, hooping and embroidery techniques, and the latest in software technology.  Darlene Pollard, National Education Coordinator for Floriani Products, will be teaching theclass on Saturday, August 15, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  She will explore easier methods for embroidering on all types of fabrics, share machine embroidery shortcuts, and give you ideas on how to use stabilizers in your quilting and applique projects.  No more ruined garments, puckered machine embroideries, or off-center desgins!

Cost of the class is $20.00 per person.  Space is limited so call the shop as soon as possible for this exciting and informative class!
