Class Policies Our class policies are stated to protect everyone involved in our classes. Please take the time to read over our policies below. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! 1. Class fees MUST be paid IN FULL at the time of registration. If you're registering by phone more than one (1) week prior to the class date, 24 hours is acceptable for receipt of payment. Classes can be registered for in person, by mail, our online store, or phone. We can accept credit card payments by phone. 2. A refund of store credit is only provided if you cancel one (1) week prior to the start of class. If you cancel less than 1 week prior to the class, no refund will be given - unless you are able to fill your spot, in which case a store credit will be provided. 3. If Michelle's Quilts -N- Things cancels a class due to inclement weather or lack of participation, your enrollment may be transferred to another class or your monies refunded. 4. The class minimum is 3 persons. If 3 people are not enrolled in a class, it is subject to cancellation. 5. Space is reserved on a first come, first serve, basis. Register early! 6. Guests CANNOT accompany you to classes unless the registration fee is paid. No exceptions! 7. Children are not allowed in the classroom. While we understand the difficulty in arranging childcare, the machinery and equipment in the studio is industrial by nature and very dangerous to young, curious, children. 8. A 10% discount will be given when purchasing the required, or recommended, materials for a class that's already been paid for. 9. Supply lists can be found with the course descriptions on this site, and will also be provided at the time of registration. If a list is not available at that time, you will be notified as soon as it becomes available. 10. Students are required to bring a sewing machine and basic sewing supplies to each class (unless stated otherwise). Basic sewing supplies include: scissors, thread, seam ripper, marking pencil, rotary cutter, ruler. Please be prepared for class! 11. Each student MUST have a LEGAL COPY of the pattern or book that's being used. 12. If help is required in the selection of class materials, please ask Michelle or Stacy prior to the start of the class. 13. Classes will start promptly. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to set up and be ready to start! |
